Regret

A grandmother who lives in a nursing home tells the story of her life.

When she was only in her twenties, she had a big fight with her sister, because of the inheritance house. She ran away from home because she couldn’t stand her sister.

Then, she also lived her life by moving around the city. The contested heritage house will later fall into the hands of others.

The grandmother regretted, why in the past there should be anger, there must be a quarrel that lasts as long as embers.

“Life is too short just to defend who is right and who is wrong,” concluded the grandmother regretfully.

Cain’s feelings can be similar to the grandmother. Regret. After everything happened, after his anger and emotions exploded against Abel, it turned out that it was useless to win in such a way, it turned out that it was meaningless to maintain self-egoism. The gratification of anger only happened for a moment. The next thing that happened was that he had to lose his brother, his life was not peaceful, and he had to be a wanderer on earth.

How fast and short is this time of life.  Are we dragging on in the anger of the plague? When we go back to seeing the speed with which this time passes and the brevity of our grass-like lives, anger does not mean much. How futile that anger is.

Do not be irritability in your heart, for anger settles in the chest of a fool.”
