There is no life without problems! As long as we live we canβt get away or run away from problems, all we have is how we find a way out of every problem. So, we donβt have to pity ourselves in such a way when weβre in trouble, because weβre not the only ones who experience it, but everyone without exception, and wherever they are, theyβre going through the same thing.
The question may arise in our hearts: βWhy do problems, sufferings, or pressures often afflict our life?β We need not be surprised, for Christ has already said this from before: βI have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.β (John 16:33). Problems are always there because we live in the middle of a world, where people have a tendency to do evil. That is why believers in this world are like sheep in the midst of wolves (see Matthew 10:16). However, we need not fear because the Holy Spirit within us is greater than the spirit in the world (see 1 John 4:4), and Christ has overcome the world.
Problems and suffering are always present because Satan does not like to see believers living in happiness, so it does everything it can to intimidate, steal, weaken, and destroy our lives (see John 10:10a). But we must also remember that there are also problems caused by our own mistakes (see 1 Peter 2:20). Realizing that problems are experienced by everyone, we must be stronger and more steadfast in facing them, because there is God on our side, βthough he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.β (Psalm 37:24). God never promises life without problems, but what He promises is strength, inclusion, protection, care and a way out of the problems we experience.
βHE protects all His bones,
not one of them will be broken.β
