Now Or Never

God gives the blessing of β€œtime” to all people in this world in equal portions, none more or less, which is 24 hours in a day or 168 hours in a week. The problem is that not everyone can value time and use it to the best of their ability.

In general, humans need time to sleep 8 hours / day. So if calculated during the week, the time it takes humans to sleep is 56 hours. This means that the productive time of humans during the week is 112 hours. Think about it: out of those 112 hours, how many hours do we spend doing important and useful things?

How many hours of time are wasted doing useless things? How many hours of time do we spend or set aside to do spiritual things: worship, quiet time, serving God’s work, sowing goodness to others? Everyone has the freedom to use that time. So the life choice or decision is on each of us: to be a diligent or lazy person, a successful or a failed person. Remember, God gives opportunities and responsibilities to each of us according to our individual talents.

Read about the parable of the talents! (see Matthew 25:14-30). From this parable finally found two types of servants, namely faithful servants and lazy servants. God highly values faithful people, who actively work to develop their talents, a sign that they value time and make good use of it. On the contrary, God severely condemns lazy servants, who waste wasted time. God calls this lazy servant a wicked servant! As a result of his laziness in developing his talents, in addition to having his talents taken back, he was cast into the darkest darkness (see Matthew 25:28–30).

Which category do we belong to? The faithful or the lazy? If you’re still lazy, change before it’s too late.

Make the best use of your time, don’t be idle! Because opportunities don’t come twice.
