Honesty

Everyone expects success to be a part of his life. Success has often even become a human measure even though success is not automatically a sign that someone is blessed.

Humans need truth. He wants the right thing for himself but often finds it difficult to do the right thing for himself. The key to truth is honesty because telling the truth according to the situation is honesty. In stating the truth, it is often found that other people do not accept the truth.

Reminded not to swear by anything to prove that we are right. Everyone’s job is to tell the truth, other people’s response to that is not our business with them but their business with themselves and with God.

Not taking an oath needs to be considered in order to color this life because not taking an oath is humility to admit that everything is not the property and power of humans.

An honest life is a life that is blessed by God with success, not a life that is punished by the rejection of others who have been treated dishonestly.

There is someone who loves You.

Odessa Moore visits a detention house and meets a teenager who is about to serve his first trial for murder.

“There’s someone who loves you,” Odessa told him.

“No way. No one,” replied the teenager.

“You’re here for murder, aren’t you?” asked Odessa.

The teenager nodded. “But what if someone came in here and said, ‘I know you killed, and they’re going to sentence you to death, but I’ll take your place.’ How do you like it?” asked Odessa.

“You must be joking. But, well, its good,” said the teenager.

Odessa then told about Jesus and explained about sin, repentance, forgiveness, and freedom in Christ. Hearing this, the youth welcomed a second chance to live free from eternal punishment.

Moses was a great leader. However, few people know how he felt when he killed people and fled his country. During his 40 years on the run, we don’t know how many times he thought about quitting. How often had he felt that his life had been ruined? But, God gave him a second chance. Not just an opportunity to be a better person, but an opportunity to be a leader of his people.

When we suffer the consequences of sin, not a few feel accused, as if life is no longer meaningful. When we are in that position, remember that God always provides an opportunity for us to return to Him. When the opportunity comes, respond immediately.

Power Like A Horse

Horses symbolize strength, speed, and agility. Everything in the horse (strength, speed, dexterity) comes from God; He completed it. The Lord said to Job, “Are you the one who gave energy to the horse? Are you the one who wears the mane on the nape of his neck?” The purpose of this word of God was to affirm to Job that He was the one who gave strength to the horse. If horses alone are given tremendous strength and advantage by God, let alone we are His children; He must be able to give us everything we need.

Why does God give an example of a horse? It’s not without intent. Horses have running speed to avoid predators. In addition, horses have a strong balance and instinct to fight or escape. That is why horses can sleep even when standing. The value of more than a horse is its great power.

We have many reasons to avoid God’s work. But actually we are lazy and do not want to act. Our energy is more we spend watching tv, lazing around, relaxing, and so on.

It takes courage to believe that God is capable of doing everything in our lives. Today God is looking for people who have a heart and are willing to be responsible for what God gives.

Appreciate every talent and gift of God as something very valuable. Don’t take it for granted. In these latter days Satan continues to multiply his strength to ensnare the weak, for the day of condemnation is coming soon.

Regret

A grandmother who lives in a nursing home tells the story of her life.

When she was only in her twenties, she had a big fight with her sister, because of the inheritance house. She ran away from home because she couldn’t stand her sister.

Then, she also lived her life by moving around the city. The contested heritage house will later fall into the hands of others.

The grandmother regretted, why in the past there should be anger, there must be a quarrel that lasts as long as embers.

“Life is too short just to defend who is right and who is wrong,” concluded the grandmother regretfully.

Cain’s feelings can be similar to the grandmother. Regret. After everything happened, after his anger and emotions exploded against Abel, it turned out that it was useless to win in such a way, it turned out that it was meaningless to maintain self-egoism. The gratification of anger only happened for a moment. The next thing that happened was that he had to lose his brother, his life was not peaceful, and he had to be a wanderer on earth.

How fast and short is this time of life.  Are we dragging on in the anger of the plague? When we go back to seeing the speed with which this time passes and the brevity of our grass-like lives, anger does not mean much. How futile that anger is.

Do not be irritability in your heart, for anger settles in the chest of a fool.”

Uncle Ben And Spider-Man.

Benjamin Franklin Parker, commonly referred to as Uncle Ben, is a fictional character who appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the husband of May Parker and the uncle and father figure of Peter Parker, the Spider-Man.

Uncle Ben’s character was inspired by the founding father of the United States, Benjamin Franklin. This character has become an important part of Spider-Man’s history. His death at the hands of a petty criminal, who had previously been captured by Spider-Man, but chose not to be arrested, became the main factor that inspired Peter Parker.

Before he died, Uncle Ben said a simple but profound meaning: “Along with great power, there is also a great responsibility.” The word imprinted in Peter, and became a kind of moral compass for him when he was venturing out as Spider-Man.

If we feel that the responsibility we bear is so heavy, believe that God is with us. He will give us strength commensurate with the magnitude of the responsibility He entrusts to us. Conversely, if we feel we have great ability, but we only bear a small responsibility, be patient. Moses, before being called to shepherd a great nation, learned to be faithful and responsible as a shepherd of sheep.

Remember, when God gives us great responsibility, He will also equip us with commensurate strength.

Life is nurturing and to nurturing.

Life is nurturing and to nurturing. The less aware a person is of this the further away his life is from peace.

The life nourished is the realization that life does not exist by itself and cannot be completely dependent on what is on it; Life is not determined by existing resources.

Life to nurture is the realization that life is not only there to take care of itself and to let everything around it but, to take good care of everything around it and by itself life becomes orderly and calm.

The two sources of life mobility are the heart and the mind. A well-preserved heart will form a good mindset so that the intention of maintenance of what is good is born, peace is born.

Life is often difficult to understand and accept by reason but if life remains open to be maintained by God’s peace, then his life is a life guaranteed with real peace, a life that transcends reason. Not only life happy because of hobbies, materials, and worldly things, that is the life maintained by God’s peace.

Living in Abundance

Who comes determines the circumstances of the person who comes somewhere. There are people who are expected to come and some whose arrival is very unexpected.

People who are invited to come, can come and cannot come; Uninvited people are acceptable and can be rejected when it comes to an event, but evil should never be accepted let alone invited in this life.

Faith is living in a right relationship with God so that the believer remains blessed by God.

Thieves come only to steal, kill, and destroy but often in the guise of good. Beware, lest you allow thieves to stay overnight in your life and become aware after everything is destroyed.

Invite the Lord and let Him guide your life with the abundance of His infinite love. Living in all abundance occurs only by God’s blessings.

Three Men’s Prayer

One day three men walked in a forest. After some time, they arrived at the bank of a rushing river.

Finding it impossible to cross, they each decided to pray to God.

The first man prayed, “Lord, give me the strength to cross.” God gave him strong hands and feet. He can cross within two hours.

The second man prayed, “Lord, give me the strength and ability to cross.” God gave him a boat. It can cross within an hour.

The third man prayed, “Lord, give me the strength, ability, and intelligence to cross this river.” It’s a surprise that God turned her into a woman! Calmly the woman took the map, and then crossed through the bridge!

The above humor is not to denigrate men, but to convince women that God also gives them wisdom. That women are not the number two, but the people created by God specially. God gives women unique strength, through their sensitivity and craft. God gives women special advantages, through their maternal attitude and firmness. All God has given, so that women are ready to live the role that God provides for them.

The Poor Thief

“Nothing can be taken from this house,” said a thief who felt like he was wasting time somewhere he entered.

News reports stated that the thief infiltrated a house and threatened its occupants with a knife while searching for money.

He searched the house, but he found only $20 somewhere, $50 in his wallet, and cheap jewelry.

The thief concluded that the owner of the house turned out to be no more than himself, and then he returned the $70 he was going to take.

“I think he was disgusted,” the victim said. “He couldn’t believe that was the only money I had.”

Maybe we will smile amused at the story of the poor thief. But it turns out that we often experience the same thing, when we try to take something that God never gave us. Obeying the urge to envy, commit adultery, steal, or just be stubborn, will cause more problems than profits.

David learned a lot from his hard experience on this subject. When he commits adultery with Uriah’s wife, he gets more trouble than the pleasure he craves.

There is no point in taking something that Belongs to God that He did not give us. Stop wasting our lives by pursuing things that keep us away from God and make life empty.

Love And Forgive

Usually people will feel happy if the enemy or people who always hurt him are hit by misfortune.

One day a soldier of Saul with clothes torn apart and the ground above his head came to David. The soldier broke the news that Saul and Jonathan, his son, were dead. Upon hearing the news, David tore off his clothes, wailed, and wept over their deaths.

Perhaps we think it is natural for David to mourn Jonathan because Jonathan is his friend. But wailing to Saul seemed like a strangeness. How could David be sad for someone who always chased and wanted to kill him for fear of his position as king being taken away by David?

This is where we can learn from David. He did not retaliate against Saul for his crimes. David’s actions set an example of love and forgiveness.

Like David, we don’t have to think about how to take revenge. Why? For we have God as the defender, who will declare justice just in His time. Our part is simply learning to keep God’s command of loving our enemies and praying for those who persecute us. “But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
