Small Act Of Kindness

One day a man walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing things into the ocean.

Approaching the boy,he asked,”Young man, what are you doing?” The boy replied,”Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.

The man laughed to himself and said,”Do you realize there a miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make any difference.” After listening politely, the boy bent down to pick up another starfish and threw it into the surf. Then he smiled at the man and said,”I made a difference to that one.”

Moral of the story, every small act of kindness and compassion can make a significant difference in someone’s life, even when faced with overwhelming challenges.

Always Take Your Time To Understand Things Better

A father and his daughter were playing in the park. His young daughter spotted an apple vendor. She asked her father to buy her an apple. The father didn’t bring much money with him. But it was enough to purchase two apples. So he bought two apples and gave them to his daughter.

His daughter held one apple in each hand, then the father asked her if she could share one apple with him. Upon hearing this, his daughter quickly took a bite from one apple and before her father could speak, she also took a bite from the second apple.

The father was surprised. He wondered what mistake he had mad in raising his daughter that she acted in such a greedy way. His mind was lost in thoughts, thinking that perhaps he was just thinking too much.

His daughter was too young to understand sharing and giving. A smile had disappeared from his face.

Suddenly, his daughter with an apple in one hand said,”Father, have this one. This one is much juicer and sweeter. Her father was speechless. He felt bad about reaching a judgment so quickly about a small child. But his smile came back. Now knowing why his daughter quickly took a bite from each apple.

So,moral of the story is,don’t judge anything too quickly or reach a conclusion. Always take the time to understand thing better.

Loving People Or Things?

A man was polishing his new car. His four year old daughter picked up a stone and scratched the side of the car. In anger, the furious man took his child’s hand and hit it many times, not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all her fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw her father, with pained eyes she asked ” Dad,when will my fingers grow back?”

The man was so hurt and speechless,he went to the car and kicked it many times. Devastated by his own actions. Sitting in front of the car,he looked at the scratches his daughter had written,”I love you, dad.”

Moral of story :

Remember, anger and love have no limits. Always bear in mind that things are meant to be used and people are meant to be loved.  However, the problem in today’s world is that people are being used and things are being loved. So, let get better together.

Love And Ego

Once there was an island where all the feelings lived together. One day there came a storm in the sea and the island was about to drown. Every feeling was scared. But love made a boat to escape. All the feelings jumped in the boat except for one feeling. Love got down to see who it was. It was ego. Love tried and tried but ego didn’t move.

Everyone asked love to leave ego and come on the boat. But love was meant to love. It remained with the ego. All other feelings were left alive. But love died because of ego.

Moral of the story:

In the stormy waters of life the most powerful lesson is that love knows no bounds but ego can sink even the strongest of the bonds.

What’s Define You?

A doctor,a lawyer,a little boy and a priest were out for a Sunday afternoon flight on a small private plane.

Suddenly, the plane developed engine trouble. In spite of  the best effort of the pilot, the plane started to go down. Finally, the pilot grabbed a parachute and yelled to the passengers that they better jump. And he himself bailed out.

Unfortunately, there were only three parachutes remaining. The doctor grabbed one and said,”I am a doctor,I saved lives,so I must live.” And jumped out.

The lawyer then said,”I am a lawyer and lawyers are the smartest people in the world. I deserve to live.” He also grabbed a parachute and jumped.

The priest looked at the little boy and said,”My son,I have live a long and full life. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Take the last parachute and live in peace.” The little boy handed the parachute back to the priest and said,”Not to worry father, the smartest man in the world just took of with my backpack.”

Moral of the story:

Your job doesn’t always define you. But, being a good human being does.

God Has Many Ways

One day, A man decided to travel by ship with his friends. While in the middle of their journey, the boat began to sink. Everyone tried to escape by swimming, but it was all in vain. All drowned except this man who succeeded in clinging to a floating object and reach a small island.

There he built a straw but survived on fruits and herbs. Week passed despair grew. Each night he’d light a fire for a warmth. One night he was awakened by an overwhelming heat. It was his straw hut that caught fire.

He cried accusing and blaming God,shouting “oh God: what have I done to you to hurt me so? You separated me from my family, all friends, and now you let my hut burn. Why are you so hard on me? It’s better to die because I am tired of living in this suffering.”

But at dawn a boat landed on island. He ran straight for the captain and asked him: “captain, how did you get here?” The captain replied: In the night we saw a fire and we thought that you used the fire in order for us to find you.” The man cried fell on his knees and asked God for forgiveness. And he got into the boat and went home and reunited with his family.

Moral of the story:

God has many ways of solving our problems. Do not curse your God even if you suffer. Keep faith and hope. He will act.

Five Friends You Need To Have In Life.

1. The Fitness Buddy

The person who inspires you to stay active, take care of yourself and be healthy.

2. The RealistΒ

The one who keeps it real with you even if it’s not what you wanna hear.

3. The Listener

The one who just give you a space to talk and vent.

4. The Cheerleader

The one who believes in you no matter what you do.

5. The Day One

The person that’s been with you for the longest time and is not leaving anytime soon.

Do you these friends?

“An offended person demand respect. A humble person give honor.”

The reason why some people will not honor you because sometimes you’re not honorable. It’s because they’re not the one that’s honoring.

When we honor somebody,it speaks more about the quality of our character and than quality of their behavior. If somebody doesn’t respect, you can demand that out of them but you can give honor where honor is due.

David honored Saul not because Saul was good but because David was good. He didn’t obey Saul,he didn’t trust Saul in fact he distance himself from Saul because Saul had some episodes and he was throwing spears at David.

So,David took boundaries but you never see David dishonoring Saul. Why? because David was not a dishonoring person.
