But if someone has a healthy mentality, they value themselves more. He is fair to himself and those around him.
- Not having negative emotions
A mentally healthy person is able to control his emotions well. Facing these negative emotions is not easy, but it is already part of everyday life. Thus, if we do not have a healthy mental state, we find it more difficult to control our emotions and overcome the suffering we feel when faced with unpleasant situations.

When a person is mentally unhealthy, he will have trouble sleeping. Though sleep is very important in every individual. Sleep can increase lifespan by up to 11 years. The amount of sleep required by each individual is different. But most individuals need 6 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep to be able to work optimally.
If someone has trouble sleeping, then it will have a negative side effect on his body. Among the side effects of sleep deprivation are body discomfort, difficulty focusing on work, weak immune system, even depression which are all characteristics and consequences of mental illness.

A healthy mental state enables the individual to concentrate on what he is doing. Without a healthy mentality, an individual cannot focus on a job that requires concentration and peace of mind.
- Have good social relationships with others.
People who have a healthy mentality are generally adaptable or have good relationships with people around them, such as with the closest family, work partners, neighbors, and society in general.
While people who have mental illness will have problems in social relationships because they are unable to control their own feelings. He is always worried about what others think of him, always selfish and thinks others are all wrong, difficult to admit his own mistakes and easily has feelings of hatred and resentment.
This mental illness makes him always have a bad relationship with the people around him. To solve this problem, he must first cure his mental illness.
