A True And Sincere Person

Light has risen for the righteous, and joy for those who are sincere.

This world is a dark place even during the day; There are many things that cause humans to no longer be able to see properly the life they are living, whether they are still moving towards their proper destination or have moved in a direction that leads to who knows where.

The next problem is that perhaps many people never really want to know about the purpose of this life so that they only look narrowly at every matter of life that exists and never think about the purpose of life not only about living in this world but about living as a whole; Body and soul—physical and spiritual—now and forever.

For a righteous person, the light has emerged, meaning that he can see well the fullness of life, namely eternity wrapped in the transience of life, and he goes there with great enthusiasm; don’t go the wrong way.

Joy is for those who are sincere in heart are those whose lives are not affected by the calculation of profit and loss in the world, but those who, with all their abilities, do the best for their fellowmen with a real impulse; Don’t just work, let alone work grumbling.

A righteous person with a sincere heart is a title that must be corrected because a righteous person is reflected in his sincere heart in living life; there is no righteous person who is not sincere in heart. A righteous person must be sincere in heart, so a more appropriate title is “a truly sincere person” and it is such a person who is blessed with the blessing of rising light to lead to the joy of life.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”

There Is No True Justice In The World

Injustice everywhere. That’s the world. We will never find true justice in this world. There is only justice that is distorted, justice that is bought and sold, and justice that only favors the rich, moneyed, and ranked. What is the fate of the weak and poor? They have always been victims of injustice.

All of us growl like bears, And moan sadly like doves; We hope for justice, but there is none, For salvation, but it is far from us. (Isaiah 59:11). There is no justice in this world, “Only in the LORD are righteousness and strength. (Isaiah 45:24a), for He is the only the Righteous Judge.

In time, real justice will surely be served! For whatever man does in this world will one day be accountable before God. This is where true justice is revealed, for in judging every person God sees no appearance, no possessions, and no rank. God’s judgment is absolutely fair without fabrication.

Therefore be careful in every word and deed, for “And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13). Every crime and transgression we commit always has consequences.

Never think that everything we do doesn’t have any impact, but instead the crimes we commit against others can boomerang on ourselves: “His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. ” (Psalm7: 16).

For those who live right and fear God, there is no need to be afraid to live this life, there is no need to fear the evil or plan evil against us, for it will always be in God’s defense and protection.

God cannot be fooled with, “For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face. ” (Psalm 11:7)

Now Or Never

God gives the blessing of “time” to all people in this world in equal portions, none more or less, which is 24 hours in a day or 168 hours in a week. The problem is that not everyone can value time and use it to the best of their ability.

In general, humans need time to sleep 8 hours / day. So if calculated during the week, the time it takes humans to sleep is 56 hours. This means that the productive time of humans during the week is 112 hours. Think about it: out of those 112 hours, how many hours do we spend doing important and useful things?

How many hours of time are wasted doing useless things? How many hours of time do we spend or set aside to do spiritual things: worship, quiet time, serving God’s work, sowing goodness to others? Everyone has the freedom to use that time. So the life choice or decision is on each of us: to be a diligent or lazy person, a successful or a failed person. Remember, God gives opportunities and responsibilities to each of us according to our individual talents.

Read about the parable of the talents! (see Matthew 25:14-30). From this parable finally found two types of servants, namely faithful servants and lazy servants. God highly values faithful people, who actively work to develop their talents, a sign that they value time and make good use of it. On the contrary, God severely condemns lazy servants, who waste wasted time. God calls this lazy servant a wicked servant! As a result of his laziness in developing his talents, in addition to having his talents taken back, he was cast into the darkest darkness (see Matthew 25:28–30).

Which category do we belong to? The faithful or the lazy? If you’re still lazy, change before it’s too late.

Make the best use of your time, don’t be idle! Because opportunities don’t come twice.

Don’t Force Anything

A prospective police student is asked about his weight as one of the requirements to meet the police test.

Therefore he looked for scales and measured his weight.

When he boarded it and found out that his weight was only 50 kg, while the requirement was 60 kg, of course this made this student worry that he would not graduate as a cadet.

He took the initiative to increase his weight by pressing the scales with all his strength, in his mind through his actions the weight increased.

In an instant, his weight went up, but in an instant, it also became normal again. He continued to force pressure on the scale, finally the scale became damaged.

The lessons learned from this illustration are:

1. Something that is done forcibly is full of grumbling and damage.

2. Accepting reality is far better than denying reality, because denial produces evil prejudice.

God bless us all.

Good Days Bring Happiness; Less Good Days Provide Experience.

One day I decided to quit… quit my job, quit my relationships with others and quit my spirituality. I went into the forest to talk to God one last time.

“God,” I said, “give me one reason not to quit.”

He gave an answer that surprised me.

“Look around you,” He said, “have you noticed the ferns and bamboo plants that are in this forest?”

“Yes,” I replied

Then God said, “When I first planted them, I planted and tended their seeds carefully. I give them light. I give them water. The ferns grew very fast. Its charming green color covers the ground. However, nothing happened from the bamboo seed. But, I didn’t stop taking care of him.

“In the second year, the ferns grew faster and more. However, still nothing happens from the bamboo seeds. But I did not give up on him.

“In the third year there was still nothing growing from that bamboo seed, but I still didn’t give up. So is the fourth year.

“Then in the fifth year, a small bud emerged from the ground. Compare with fern, it looks so small and seems insignificant.

“But six months later, this bamboo grew to a height of more than 30 meters. It took him five years to grow the roots. Those roots make him strong and give him what he needs to survive. I’m not going to give my creations a challenge they can’t handle.

“Do you know that my son, from all your time of struggle, you actually growing your roots? I didn’t give up on that bamboo. I will never give up on you either.”

God said again, “Don’t compare yourself to others. Those bamboos have a different purpose compared to ferns. But both still make this forest more beautiful.

“The time you will come, you will grow very tall.”

“How tall should I grow?” I asked.

“How high can those bamboos grow?”

“As high as they can afford?

“Yes,” He answered, “glorify Me with your growth, as high as you can reach.”

Then I left the forest, and I realized that God would never give up on me.

Never regret the life we are currently living. Good days bring happiness; Less good days provide experience; Both give meaning to this life.

Source Of Contention

Everyone longs for a quiet and safe journey of life. There are no enemies and as much as possible no one is hostile to him.

People who live their lives every day often have problems because everyone does not see and think the same thing in a different way. So there is an attempt to show who is right and who is wrong.

Even those who have the same perspective and thoughts can still differ in how to express their opinions and cause a heated atmosphere.

As long as differences of opinion can be resolved wisely, then all are wise people but when people have begun to engage their emotions and involve the emotions of others as well, then quarrels arise that can lead to the destruction of fraternity; arrogance is the culprit of the quarrel, says Proverbs. Self-denial seems to center on selfishness.

Wise men are those who are not dominated by the personal ego in seeing every problem; resolve differences without inviting arguments.

Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.”

The Story Of The Miners

There are several mine diggers who work every day in the mine. Because the mine is rich in natural minerals, they have not moved their workplace for several years. So it is conceivable that the deeper the mine is dug. That day they were at the deepest bottom of the mine.

Suddenly all the electric current lines in the mine broke. The lights were all extinguished. Pitch black covered the bottom of the mine, and in an instant there was a frenzy there. Everyone is trying to save themselves. But they really lost their way. Their every move inevitably ended in bumps and collisions, either hitting fellow workers or hitting mine walls. The situation worsened due to the increasingly hot air.

After being tired of wrestling with the darkness, they all sat hopelessly listlessly. One of the workers spoke up, “We’d better sit quietly rather than frenziedly looking for a way out. Sit quietly and try to feel the breeze. Because the wind can only blow in through the door of this mine.”

They then sat down in silence. At first they could not feel the gust of wind. But gradually they became more and more sensitive to the breeze coming in through the mine door. Following the direction of the wind, they finally safely exited the pitch-black bottom of the mine.

When our mind is troubled and chaotic, we will never see the right solution. What is needed first of all is to calm down. Only in silence can we see the subject matter correctly, and correctly make decisions. “therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

Life Lessons

A bottle:

  • If filled with mineral water, the price is $1.
  • If filled with fruit juice, the price is $3.
  • If it is filled with perfume, it costs $100.
  • If it is filled with sewage water, it will only be thrown in the lo trash can because it has no price.

All are packaged in bottles but have different values, because the contents in them are different.

So do humans. What distinguishes it is the character that is within us. The right knowledge and understanding will build the right character.

“Success is not measured by the position we achieve, but by the difficulties we overcome while trying to achieve success.”

If we fill our hearts with past regrets and worries about the future, we almost certainly won’t have today to be grateful for. Rain and storms will always be encountered in the course of life, however… The big rain is like a life challenge. It is not necessary to pray for the rain to stop, but simply to pray that our “umbrella” will grow stronger.

Remember! Age is like ice cubes. Worn or unused will still melt, used or unused our age will still be reduced from the “ration” that has been set. While we have our age left, do as much good as we can.

There are 3 things in life that can’t go back:

  1. Time
  2. Speech
  3. Opportunity

Take care of it, lest you regret it!

There are 3 things that can destroy a person’s life:

  1. Anger
  2. Arrogance
  3. Revenge

Avoid it always!

There are 3 things that should not be missing:

  1. Hope
  2. Sincerity
  3. Honesty

Take care of all three!

There are 3 things that are most valuable:

  1. Compassion
  2. Love
  3. Kindness

Nurture it all!

There are 3 things in life that are never certain:

  1. Wealth
  2. Glory
  3. Dream

Don’t obsess over it!

There are 3 things that can shape a person’s disposition:

  1. Commitment
  2. Sincerity
  3. Hard work

Try your hardest!

There are 3 things that make us successful:

  1. Determination
  2. Willpower
  3. Focus

Try earnestly!

There are 3 things we never know:

  1. Fortune
  2. Age
  3. Soul mate

Ask God!

But, there are 3 things in life that are certain:

  1. Old
  2. Pain
  3. Death

Prepare it best!

The Seed

In this darkness I pondered. “Why should I be put here? Why haven’t I seen that glowing sun? Hearing the melodious chirping of birds and feeling the gentle swish of the wind blowing? Didn’t my friends start on the same line? We are planted on the same day. But, look at them… So quickly they grew, out breaking this darkness.

Are they too strong and am I too weak? Or is luck on their side and not me? Or am I not something extraordinary like them? Could it be that I’m just a coincidence? Okay, I’ll turn myself off in this darkness. After all, I never grew either. I’m tired in this darkness.

But…

I thought of the faithful farmer. Every day he came to fertilize and water me. Although he hadn’t seen me grow yet, he seemed to believe I was alive and so sure that one day I too could break this darkness.

For the sake of that farmer… I will survive. If I can’t grow upward, I will propagate downward. Yes! I will strengthen my solid roots until I reach the source of water. I will not let those loyal farmers down.”

While I was working my part, without realizing it… That day came. I can come out to break the rigors of the ground. I grew, grew, grew, could see the sun, hear birds chirping, and feel the softness of the caress of the wind. Not only that, I became so big and shady that birds nested on my sturdy arms. My fruit can be enjoyed, even people can take shelter from the hot sun in the shadow of my giant body.

Now I realize why it took me so much longer to grow. It’s not that I’m less special than my friends, but because I’m prepared to be something big, something that I’m meant to be there for. “Oh, thank goodness… Good thing I persevered and didn’t give up when I was in that darkness.”

Moral of the story is no matter how hard our life’s,never give up. God never give up on us. “Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life…”

Three Things In Human Relationships

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,…”

One: Friendly. Smile sincerely, speak softly, respect others. The friendly paradoxes are squabbling, bitchy, rudeness, coldness, and anger; There may be others.

Two: Affectionate. The full measure is that love is done with all my heart and all my power and effort. Love? If your thoughts, actions, and lives are for others, that is love. Intimate is a hug full of sincerity, a warm handshake, a sense of familiarity. The paradox of this is selfishness and hypocrisy; There may be others.

Three: Forgive each other. Humans need forgiveness and humans need to give forgiveness. Forgiving does not mean that others have to be guilty but how to accept other people’s weaknesses is forgiveness. Forgiving yourself is realizing your weaknesses and fixing them. The paradox of the matter is hard-hearted and vengeful; there may be others.

The example in this regard is the work of God in the Jesus who has kindly and lovingly forgiven man; the greatest thing that ever existed was the sacrifice of Jesus.

Something good but not in the frame of human relations above, then pray: “may God forgive”. If those three things exist in life, God’s work in Jesus will be a part of your life to see and experience peace.
