Now Or Never

God gives the blessing of โ€œtimeโ€ to all people in this world in equal portions, none more or less, which is 24 hours in a day or 168 hours in a week. The problem is that not everyone can value time and use it to the best of their ability.

In general, humans need time to sleep 8 hours / day. So if calculated during the week, the time it takes humans to sleep is 56 hours. This means that the productive time of humans during the week is 112 hours. Think about it: out of those 112 hours, how many hours do we spend doing important and useful things?

How many hours of time are wasted doing useless things? How many hours of time do we spend or set aside to do spiritual things: worship, quiet time, serving Godโ€™s work, sowing goodness to others? Everyone has the freedom to use that time. So the life choice or decision is on each of us: to be a diligent or lazy person, a successful or a failed person. Remember, God gives opportunities and responsibilities to each of us according to our individual talents.

Read about the parable of the talents! (see Matthew 25:14-30). From this parable finally found two types of servants, namely faithful servants and lazy servants. God highly values faithful people, who actively work to develop their talents, a sign that they value time and make good use of it. On the contrary, God severely condemns lazy servants, who waste wasted time. God calls this lazy servant a wicked servant! As a result of his laziness in developing his talents, in addition to having his talents taken back, he was cast into the darkest darkness (see Matthew 25:28โ€“30).

Which category do we belong to? The faithful or the lazy? If youโ€™re still lazy, change before itโ€™s too late.

Make the best use of your time, donโ€™t be idle! Because opportunities donโ€™t come twice.

Three Things In Human Relationships

โ€œBe kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,โ€ฆโ€

One: Friendly. Smile sincerely, speak softly, respect others. The friendly paradoxes are squabbling, bitchy, rudeness, coldness, and anger; There may be others.

Two: Affectionate. The full measure is that love is done with all my heart and all my power and effort. Love? If your thoughts, actions, and lives are for others, that is love. Intimate is a hug full of sincerity, a warm handshake, a sense of familiarity. The paradox of this is selfishness and hypocrisy; There may be others.

Three: Forgive each other. Humans need forgiveness and humans need to give forgiveness. Forgiving does not mean that others have to be guilty but how to accept other peopleโ€™s weaknesses is forgiveness. Forgiving yourself is realizing your weaknesses and fixing them. The paradox of the matter is hard-hearted and vengeful; there may be others.

The example in this regard is the work of God in the Jesus who has kindly and lovingly forgiven man; the greatest thing that ever existed was the sacrifice of Jesus.

Something good but not in the frame of human relations above, then pray: โ€œmay God forgiveโ€. If those three things exist in life, Godโ€™s work in Jesus will be a part of your life to see and experience peace.

The Bomboo Story

Have we ever thought that with endless problems coming one after another, perhaps God is processing us to be beautiful before Him? Hereโ€™s the story of a piece of bamboo and maybe we can learn something from it.

A beautiful bamboo stick grows in the yard of a farmerโ€™s house. This bamboo stem grows towering high among other bamboo sticks. One day came the farmer who owned the bamboo tree. He said to the bamboo sticks, โ€œO bamboo, will I use you to be a water pipe, which is very useful for irrigating my fields?โ€

The bamboo stick answered him, โ€œOh, of course I would like it if it could be useful to you, master. But tell me what youโ€™re going to do to make me into that plumbing.โ€

The farmer answered, โ€œFirst, I will cut you down to separate you from your beautiful grove. Then I will throw away your branches that can hurt the person holding you. After that I will divide you according to my needs. Finally, I will remove the barriers inside your trunk, so that the water can flow smoothly. When I am done with my work, you will be a pipe that will drain water to irrigate my fields so that the rice I plant can flourish.โ€

Hearing this, the old bamboo sticks fell silent, then he said to the farmer, โ€œMaster, of course I will feel very pain when you cut me. It will also surely hurt when you throw away my branches, even more so when you split my beautiful trunk, and it must be unbearable when you scrape through the inside of my body to remove the barriers. Will I be strong through all that process, Master?โ€

The farmer replied to the bamboo stick, โ€œO bamboo, you must be strong through all that, for I chose you precisely because you are the strongest of all the stems in this clump. So stay calm.โ€

Finally the bamboo stick gave up, โ€œWell, sir. I would love to be of any use to you. Here I am, cut me down, do as you will.โ€

After the farmer is done with his work, beautiful bamboo sticks that used to only decorate the farmerโ€™s yard, have now turned into water pipes that irrigate his fields so that rice can grow luxuriantly and bear many fruits.

Just like those bamboo sticks, we are being forged. God is making us perfect to be used as distributors of blessings, so that we become more useful and better. He is casting away our pride and all our attributes that are not pleasing to Him. But donโ€™t worry, we must be strong because God will not give us burdens that we cannot bear.

So will we surrender to Godโ€™s will, allowing Him the freedom to work within us to make us useful instruments for Him? Like that bamboo stick, let us say, โ€œHere I am Lord, do as You will.โ€

Dear Friends,Someone Send You Letter This Morning.

Good morning

When you wake up this morning, I look at you and hope that you will greet Me soon, even if itโ€™s just a few words, and thank Me for everything good that happened in your life yesterday.

But Iโ€™ve noticed youโ€™re too busy choosing the best clothes to wear to work. Iโ€™m waiting again to hear your greeting. Once ready, I know that you have a few moments to pause to greet Me, but you are still too busy.

I want to say that I can help you achieve what you have been dreaming of, but you never talk to me about your dreams, you rely on your strength alone. At one point, you just sit in a chair for 15 minutes and do nothing. Iโ€™m still waiting to hear from you.

Then I saw you stand up, I thought you wanted to talk to Me, but you took your phone and called a friend. After that, you left home to get to work and I was waiting patiently for you all day to hear you.

With all your busy activities, you become too busy to be able to speak to Me. At lunch, before you eat your lunch, I see you looking around you, maybe you feel ashamed to talk to Me, so you donโ€™t bow your head when you have seen your friends talking to Me first before they eat their food, but you donโ€™t.

Itโ€™s OKAY.

After the afternoon comes, you go home. There is still time available, I still expect you to say hello to Me. It turns out that you still have a lot of work to do at home. When youโ€™re done, you turn on the TV. I donโ€™t know if you like watching shows on television or not, itโ€™s just that you often spend a lot of time in front of them, thinking about nothing but watching every show while enjoying snacks. Back I waited patiently. But you still donโ€™t greet Me.

Itโ€™s time to sleep for you, of course, you have been feeling very tired all day today. Then you immediately fall asleep soundly.

Itโ€™s okay because you may not realize that I am always around you. I have more patience and tenderness than you can tell. In fact, I am eager to teach you how to be patient and gentle with those around you well.

I love you so much. Every day I wait for the bow of your head or your prayers or expressions of gratitude from within your heart.

Like yesterday, you wake up from your sleep and return I wait lovingly and hope that on this day you will at least give me a little time.

I bless you!

From your best friend,
Jesus Christ

Things Are Not Always What They Seem

“A cruise ship had an accident at sea and was about to sink. A couple ran towards the lifeboat to save themselves. Once there, they realized that there was only a place for one person left. Soon the husband jumped ahead of his wife to get the place. The wife could only stare at him shouting a sentence before the lifeboat moved away and the ship completely sank her.”

The teacher who told this story asked his students, “What do you think the wife shouted?”

Most of the students replied:

“I hate you!”

“You know I’m blind!!”

“You are selfish!”

“Shame on you!”

But the teacher then realized that a student was silent. The teacher asked the silent student to answer. The student said, “Sir, I’m sure the wife must have shouted, ‘Please take good care of our child.'”

The teacher was surprised and asked, “Have you heard this story before?”

The student shook his head. “No. But that’s what my mother said before she died of a chronic illness.”

The teacher stared at the whole class and said, “This answer is correct. The ship then sank completely and the husband took care of their child alone. Years later after the husband died, the child found his father’s diary. There he discovers that, by the time his parents board the yacht, they already know that the mother has a chronic illness and will soon die. That’s why, in that moment of emergency, his father decided to take his only chance of survival. He wrote in the diary, ‘How I wish I had died under the sea with you. But for the sake of our child, I must let you sink alone for eternity down there.'”

The story is over. And the whole class silent.

The teacher knew that the students now understood the moral of the story, that good and evil in this world are not as simple as we often think. There are all kinds of complications and reasons behind them that are sometimes difficult to understand.

That’s why we should never look just outside and then immediately judge, let alone without knowing anything.

Those who often pay for others may not mean they are rich, but because they value relationships over money.

Those who work without anyone telling them to, may not be because they are stupid, but because they value the concept of responsibility.

Those who first apologize after a fight, maybe not because they are guilty, but because they value others.

Those who reach out to help you, maybe not because they feel in debt, but because they consider you are a friend.

Those who contact you often, maybe not because they don’t have a busy life, but because you are in their hearts.

Those who often flatter you sky-high, maybe not because you are a hero, but maybe because they forgive your ugliness.

That’s why,”Donโ€™t be so quick to judge, you never know what is really going on with someone until youโ€™ve walked in their shoes.”

Ego Is The Enemy

If itโ€™s an argument with customers, even if we win, customers will still run.

If you have a fuss with colleagues, even if we win, there is no more enthusiasm for working in the team.

If we arguing with the boss, even if we win, thereโ€™s no future in that place.

If we have arguments with our family, even if we win, the family relationship will be tenuous.

If you have a fuss with friends, even if we win, weโ€™ll definitely be short of friends.

If you have a fight with your partner, even if you win, your affection will definitely decrease.

If we have arguments with anyone, even if we win, we still lose. The only thing that wins is oneโ€™s own ego, itโ€™s just a pseudo victory. Whatโ€™s hard is beating your own ego. However, if we are able to conquer ourselves, it is a true winner.

It is better to be patient than to fight. It is better to control your temper than to take a city.โ€“ Proverbs

Judge Not, That Ye Be Not Judged

There is a husband and wife who have just moved house. When they ate breakfast the next day, the wife saw her neighbor drying clothes outside the house.

โ€œThe laundry is not very clean,โ€ the wife said to her husband. โ€œShe doesnโ€™t know how to wash clean, maybe she needs better laundry soap.โ€

Her husband took a look but did not comment. Every time the neighbor dried her clothes, the wife always said the same thing.

A month later, the wife was surprised when she saw clean laundry on her neighborโ€™s clothesline. She said to her husband, โ€œLook! She has learned how to wash properly. Who taught her, huh?โ€

The husband said, โ€œI woke up early this morning and cleaned our windows.โ€

The wife just fell silent and looked at her husband.

Isnโ€™t it a good idea to check in advance that our โ€œwindowsโ€ are clean? What we see when we see someone depends on the cleanliness of the โ€œwindowโ€ we look at.

Before we criticize something, itโ€™s a good idea to check our thoughts first and ask ourselves if we can see something wrong from others. What we see depends on the glasses we use, if we wear sunglasses everything will be very dark, but if we use clear glasses we will see everything is very bright, depending on which side we look at.

โ€œWhy do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brotherโ€™s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, โ€˜Let me take the speck out of your eye,โ€™ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?

Do The Best And Let God Do The Rest

There is a young man who wants to gain experience from a successful entrepreneur. He went to the businessman and said, “Frankly I really want to gain experience from you so that I can succeed like you.”

Hearing the request, the businessman smiled for a moment. Then, he asked the young man to raise his hand. The young man was amazed. However, then the businessman also explained his meaning.

“Let me see your hand line. And, listen carefully to what I think of you before I give you the lesson you requested.”

After holding up his hands, the businessman said, “Look at this palm of yours. Here there are several main lines that determine fate. There is a lifeline. Then, here there is a line of sustenance and there is also a line of soul mates. Now, grasping it. Where were all the lines just now?”ย

“In the palm of my hand,” replied the young man.

“It means that whatever your destiny and circumstances will be, they are within your own grasp. Work hard to get all of that. But take a look at your grip as well. Isn’t there still a line that is not grasped? The rest of the line is beyond your control. Because therein lies God’s power that we won’t be able to do, and that’s His part.”

Hold on and do your part with hard and earnest work, and bring to God the part you are incapable of.

Cultivate Good Habits

One day a wise old man walked through the woods with a notoriously irresponsible young man and a stone head.

The old man stopped in his footsteps, then pointed to a small tree and said, โ€œTake it up.โ€

Immediately the young man bent down, and with just one hand he could easily pull the tree out to its roots.

After walking further, the old man stopped in front of a rather large tree. โ€œTry uprooting this tree,โ€ he said.

Once again the young man obeyed the old manโ€™s orders, but this time he used both hands and with all his might pulled the tree to the roots.

Finally, they stopped back at a very large tree. โ€œNow pull out this tree!โ€ ordered the old man.

โ€œThatโ€™s impossible!โ€ protested the young man. โ€œI canโ€™t uproot the big tree.โ€

The old man replied, โ€œYou are right. Habits, whether good or bad, just like a small tree, can be uprooted very easily. Habits whose roots begin to deepen like a tree that is already rather large, to pull it out requires effort and strong energy. Long-standing habits have taken root so deeply, that the person himself cannot pull them out. Take care of yourselves so that the habits you are cultivating are good habits.โ€

Only One Step Away

History records that the Wright brothers were the first to successfully fly a plane. However, the two of them are not actually pioneers of aircraft research. The real pioneer of airplanes was Dr. Samuel Langley who had been researching the possibility of humans flying since 1890 (13 years before Wright flew airplanes).

Why is Dr. Samuel Langley unknown to people? Apparently, after conducting research and repeatedly failing for 13 years, Langley finally stopped his research. The decision was made by Langley on October 8, 1903 after his umpteenth attempt failed.

Did you know that just two months after Langley give up, on December 17, 1903, the Wright brothers managed to fly his plane?

Itโ€™s a pity, isnโ€™t it? A little more patient Dr.Langley will achieve success, but unfortunately he hurriedly stopped because he could not bear to face failure.

Falling does not mean failing. Falling and not daring to get up, that is the real failure. Never despair and give up defeat. We never know that we are actually only one step away from achieving success, lest it undo just because we decide to stop early. A champion is not one who never falls, but he who always rises every time he fails. As Thomas Alfa Edison said: โ€œMany people fail because they donโ€™t know how close they are to success.โ€

Weโ€™ve all fallen, the only difference is that some give up defeat while others dare to get back up.

โ€œFor a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.โ€
